Coach Onboarding Checklist

Before you can take payments from Clients on Ziquecoach, please read and agree to the following. This is a plain-English summary of the full Coach Agreement. Take 2 minutes — these rules protect you, your Clients, and Ziquecoach.

1. You're an independent business — not an employee. Ziquecoach is software you use to run your own coaching business. You're not our employee, agent, or partner. Your taxes, business licensing, and any staff you hire are yours.
2. You're the merchant of record — you own the money flow. When a Client pays you through Stripe Connect, YOU are the seller of record. You set the price, refund policy, and handle chargebacks (including the Stripe $15 chargeback fee), sales tax, VAT, and invoicing.
3. Work within your certification scope. Don't diagnose, prescribe, provide therapy, or treat injuries beyond your training. Use the PAR-Q for new Clients. If a Client discloses a medical condition, pregnancy, or red flag — tell them to see their doctor first.
4. Carry your own professional insurance. Hold (or commit to obtain) professional indemnity insurance and keep your certifications current. We may ask for proof.
5. We can suspend or remove you for misconduct. Sexual misconduct, harassment, unsafe programming, fraud, off-platform solicitation, promoting performance-enhancing drugs, or misrepresenting credentials — instant suspension.
6. Your Clients can take their data if you leave. On termination you have 30 days to export programs and Client records. Clients are notified and offered the choice to export data or transfer to another Coach.
7. Platform fees are disclosed and non-refundable. Per-transaction fee + Stripe fee, deducted before payout. Subscription fees non-refundable except where law requires.
8. Don't solicit clients off-platform. While you have a paid account and for 12 months after, don't push Clients you met through Ziquecoach to pay outside the platform for the same services.
9. Eating-disorder and mental-health red flags. Don't design caloric restriction or weight-loss protocols for Clients with an active eating disorder or significant unintentional weight change unless they've been cleared by a clinician.
10. You indemnify Ziquecoach for your coaching work. If a Client sues over your programming, advice, results, injury, IP infringement, data breach, tax issue, or chargeback — you're on the hook, not Ziquecoach.
