Ziquecoach is a software tool, not a healthcare provider. Ziquecoach does not practice medicine, does not provide medical advice, and does not provide any form of professional healthcare, dietetic, psychological, or therapeutic service. The Coaches who use Ziquecoach are independent fitness professionals — not your doctor, not your dietitian, not your therapist — and they are responsible for the advice and programming they give you. The content available on Ziquecoach, including workout plans, meal plans, exercise videos, calorie estimates, AI-generated suggestions, written messages from your Coach, and any other materials, is for general fitness and educational purposes only. It is not a substitute for personalized advice from a licensed physician, registered dietitian, mental-health professional, or other qualified healthcare provider.
Before You Start
You should consult your physician before beginning any new exercise or nutrition program. This is especially important if you:
- are pregnant, postpartum, or trying to conceive
- have any heart condition, history of cardiovascular disease, or family history of sudden cardiac events
- have high or low blood pressure
- have diabetes or any metabolic condition
- have asthma or any respiratory condition
- have a current or past eating disorder, disordered eating pattern, or significant unintentional weight change
- have a history of depression, anxiety, or any mental-health condition
- have any musculoskeletal injury, joint problem, or recent surgery
- take any prescription or over-the-counter medication
- are under 18 or over 65
- have been sedentary for an extended period
- feel any uncertainty about whether exercise is safe for you
Assumption of Risk
Exercise and changes to diet or lifestyle carry inherent risks. These risks include but are not limited to muscle strains, joint injuries, ligament or tendon tears, falls, bruising, dehydration, heat illness, equipment-related injury, abnormal blood-pressure response, fainting, cardiovascular events up to and including heart attack and stroke, and in rare cases serious injury or death. Dietary changes and caloric restriction carry their own risks, including nutritional deficiencies, gastrointestinal distress, hormonal disruption, and disordered eating patterns. BY USING ZIQUECOACH, YOU VOLUNTARILY ACCEPT ALL OF THESE RISKS, you confirm that you are in good enough health to participate or have been cleared by your physician, and you agree that Ziquecoach is not responsible for any injury, illness, condition, or harm — to you or to anyone else — arising from your participation.
Mental Health and Disordered Eating
If you are experiencing thoughts of self-harm, an active eating disorder, or any mental-health crisis, please contact a crisis line in your country (in the US, call or text 988; in the UK, call 116 123 for Samaritans; in the EU, see findahelpline.com) — do not rely on Ziquecoach or your Coach for crisis support.
